Natural Stone Luxury for the Dining Room

The Timeless Luxury of Marble

Marble has been prized as a material of luxury and sophistication for thousands of years, and a marble dining table brings that same sense of timeless refinement into the contemporary home. Each piece of natural marble is unique — the veining patterns, colour variations, and surface character of every slab are entirely one-of-a-kind, meaning your marble dining table is genuinely unlike any other in existence. This natural individuality, combined with the material's inherent beauty, makes a marble dining table one of the most distinctive and impactful pieces of furniture a dining room can feature.

Natural vs Engineered Marble

Our marble dining tables are available in both genuine natural marble and high-quality marble-effect engineered stone. Natural marble delivers unmatched authenticity and the genuine variation that comes from a material formed over millions of years, but requires regular sealing and careful maintenance to protect against staining and etching. Marble-effect engineered surfaces replicate the visual beauty of natural marble with significantly enhanced durability and easier maintenance — they are non-porous, do not require sealing, and are more resistant to the acids and moisture encountered in everyday dining. Both options are available across our range.

Caring for and Choosing a Marble Dining Table

If you choose a genuine natural marble table, establish a regular sealing routine — typically every six to twelve months — to maintain the stone's resistance to staining. Always use coasters and placemats, and clean spills — particularly acidic liquids like wine, lemon juice, and vinegar — immediately to prevent etching of the surface. When selecting your marble table, consider the base design carefully — a marble top paired with a delicate metal hairpin leg frame creates an airy, light feel, while a solid stone or chunky wood base creates a more grounded, substantial presence in the room.
